The Nacionalistas celebrated another year together in a modest Christmas bash held at Brittany Bay on December 5, 2005.

The old guards of the party like Former Sen. Eva Estrada-Kalaw, Ambassador Macario Laurel, Former Assemblyman Hjalmar Quintana, Former Mayor Bayani Andal, and the like came and mingled with the new blood. More members and national leaders have been recruited as the spirit and energy of the party has been revitalized .

The highlight of the evening was the unveiling of the oil portrait of Party President Manny Villar to the admiring gasps of the guests. The painter was none other than Ms. Celia Diaz-Laurel who had the privilege of being tutored by the great Fernando Amorsolo himself, when she took her masters degree in fine arts at U.P .
