Ms. Cynthia Villar is currently on her second term as representative of Las Pinas and as President of the Lady Legislators League of the 12 th and 13 th Congress. She sits as the Chairperson for the Committee on Higher and Technical Education. She holds an MBA degree from the New York University and is a Certified Public Accountant. As President of Capital Bank, she propelled the bank to become the biggest private development bank of the Philippines . Her social and civic concerns are wide and varied ranging from environmental protection, the Philippine National Red Cross to child welfare. She is a stalwart of the Nacionalista Party and key toward its revitalization.
