The delegates were young professionals, students and national youth group members, out-of-school youth between the ages of 17 to 27 from all over the country. The camp’s aim is to bring together young Filipino leaders. The topics included: the state of Philippine Economy; Leadership Qualities and Values; Campus Journalism, among others, with the aim in view of inspiring love of country and social responsibility in an interactive medium and team spirit. Senator Manny Villar, Nacionalista Party President graced the event as guest of honor. The esteemed Senator also gave an inspiring message to the youth on leadership via entrepreneurship and led the release of the doves, signifying the youth delegates’ aspirations. The highly regarded speakers included, Rep. Gilbert Remulla, Rep. Alan Cayetano, Rep. Joel Villanueva, Rep. Timmy Chipeco, Rep. TG Guingona, Former Rep. Rimpy Bondoc, NEDA Deputy Director General Nestor Mijares IV, and journalist Alecks Pabico, PCIJ. The Youth Leaders camp also paved the way for the formation of the Nacionalista Party Youth Network, inducting the officers:
